Four New Confirmations in Minnesota in Late Summer and Fall of 2010

There has been a flurry of new confirmations in Minnesota from August 18 to November 18, 2010, all confirmed by trail camera and verified by Minnesota DNR personnel or professional wildlife biologists. These confirmations are all likely wild cougars and were found in different parts of the state as can be seen in the map below. It is theorized that they are migrants from the Black Hills of South Dakota.
