Agency Contacts

The Cougar Network is very interested in obtaining reports of cougars the Prairie region, the Midwest and the East.  Although sighting reports may be interesting, they are not proof and are often unreliable.  If you have "proof" of a cougar in an area where they are officially recognized as "extirpated," please report it to us - our e-mail contact information can be found here

We are only interested in reports that meet our criteria for a confirmation.  Solid reports should also be brought to the attention of your local state/provincial wildlife agency.
